Wagons: Why is it So Much Easier to Fall Off than to Jump On?

image-1I had intended to start the year off with a run because it had been so long since I had done so. But that didn’t happen.

Instead, I ended up going for a walk along Ft. Lauderdale Beach Blvd with the family to take in all the restaurants and shops lining the street. But decided to walk back to the hotel along the ocean. Like on the sand. Because ocean.

Midway through, however, I started feeling something. Something unfamiliar. Some kind of…….discomfort.

Long story short, when I went to stand up after breakfast the next day, my hamstrings were tight.

I was sore.

FROM WALKING.

{hangs head in shame}

So today, it was back to business.

And I dragged my little companions along with me.

Because why suffer alone when you can take your children down with you?
